By downloading, installing, or using the Become app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Become is a habit tracking and personal development application designed to help you build positive habits based on identity-based behavior change principles. The App provides tools for:

• Creating and tracking daily habits
• Defining personal identities you want to embody
• Building habit stacks and routines
• Viewing statistics and progress
• Receiving motivational notifications and reminders

3. User Accounts

Become does not require you to create an account. The App works entirely on-device without registration. All your data is stored locally on your device.

4. Subscription and Purchases

4.1 Free Tier

Become offers a free tier that includes:

• Up to 3 active habits
• Up to 3 identities
• Basic statistics (7-day view)
• Core habit tracking features

4.2 Premium Subscription

Premium features are available through in-app purchase:

• Monthly Subscription: $4.99/month with 7-day free trial
• Yearly Subscription: $39.99/year with 7-day free trial
• Lifetime Access: $79.99 one-time purchase

4.3 Payment Terms

• All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• Free trial periods cannot be combined with other offers

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests must be made through Apple's App Store. We do not process refunds directly. Apple's refund policies apply to all purchases.

5. User Conduct

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of personal habit tracking and self-improvement. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to App systems or networks

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, graphics, and content, is owned by Become App and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App (habits, notes, reflections, etc.). Since this content is stored only on your device, you are solely responsible for backing up and maintaining your data.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains that we do not collect any personal data. All your information stays on your device.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 No Medical Advice

Become is a habit tracking tool and does not provide medical, psychological, or professional health advice. The App is not a substitute for professional treatment or therapy. Always consult qualified professionals for health-related decisions.

9.2 No Guarantees

While Become is designed based on evidence-based habit formation principles, we do not guarantee any specific results. Your success depends on your commitment and consistent action.

9.3 "As Is" Basis

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Become App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Any unauthorized access to or use of your device
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the App
• Any errors or omissions in the App's content or features

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Become App and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes through app updates or in-app notices.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, through in-app notifications. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may terminate or suspend your access to premium features if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Become App is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
