  • Your Google Photos or photo content

  • Device identifiers or analytics data
  • Location data
  • Usage statistics or behavioral data

How the App Works

CloudSpaceCleaner accesses your Google data directly from your device using Google's official APIs. All data processing happens locally on your iPhone or iPad. Here's what happens:

  • You authenticate with Google using their secure OAuth 2.0 system
  • Google provides temporary access tokens that are stored securely in your device's Keychain
  • The app uses these tokens to fetch data directly from Google's servers to your device
  • All analysis, filtering, and calculations happen on your device
  • When you delete or archive items, the app communicates directly with Google's servers
  • No data passes through our servers at any point

Google API Permissions

CloudSpaceCleaner requests the following Google API permissions:

  • Gmail (modify): To list emails, download attachments, and archive emails
  • Google Drive (full access): To list files, identify duplicates, download files, and move files to trash
  • Google Photos (read-only): To view your photos library and identify cleanup opportunities

These permissions are required for the app to function. We only request the minimum permissions necessary to provide the cleanup functionality.

Data Storage

The only data stored locally on your device includes:

  • Google OAuth tokens (stored securely in iOS Keychain)
  • User preferences (cleanup settings, tip history)
  • Usage statistics (emails analyzed count, space freed - stored locally only)

This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.

Children's Privacy
